Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Zarno (the "App") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Zarno helps delivery couriers track their work sessions and understand their real earnings. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign up we collect your email address and a password. Passwords are stored in hashed form by our authentication provider — we never see or store your password in plain text.

Data you enter. The work data you add to the App: your delivery sessions, earnings, hours worked, distance, number of deliveries, platform (e.g. Uber Eats, DoorDash, Menulog), vehicle, expenses and income goals. You provide this data yourself; the App uses it to calculate your net earnings.

Subscription information. If you subscribe to Zarno Premium, we store your subscription status and, for web payments, an identifier for your Stripe customer record. We do NOT collect or store your full card number — payment card details are handled entirely by our payment processors (see section 4).

Technical data. Basic technical information needed to operate the service reliably and securely, such as your session and limited device or log data.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide the App and calculate your earnings figures;
  • create and secure your account and authenticate you;
  • manage your subscription, billing and free trial;
  • send you essential service messages, such as email verification and password resets;
  • maintain the security, integrity and reliability of the service; and
  • comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your delivery data for advertising.

3. Legal bases

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you (to provide the App you signed up for), your consent (which you may withdraw), and our legitimate interests in keeping the service secure and functioning. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

4. Where your data is stored and who processes it

Your account and app data are stored on infrastructure provided by Supabase, which hosts our database and authentication. We also use the following service providers, who process limited data only to perform their function:

  • Stripe — payment processing for web subscriptions;
  • Apple — payment processing for iOS in-app purchases;
  • RevenueCat — management and reconciliation of iOS subscription status.

These providers act as our processors and may store data on servers located outside your country, including outside Australia. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the App (Profile → delete account). Deleting your account removes your profile and associated data from our systems and cancels any active web subscription; some records may be retained only where required by law or by our payment processors. You can also request deletion by emailing us at mounaimcvn@gmail.com.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the App, or by contacting us at mounaimcvn@gmail.com. If you have a concern we cannot resolve, you may contact your local data protection or privacy authority (in Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner).

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and to respond promptly to any incident.

8. Children

Zarno is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.

10. Contact
